In 1993, at the age of 80, Brian Johnston embarked on his first ever concert tour, a one-man show called An Evening With Johnners, which blended stories about his life with the many jokes and puns for which he was renowned. Two recordings were made from it – An Evening With Johnners and An Hour With Johnners.
